Keith Graves talks high expectations for CHICKEN DUNK professional women's basketball team!

This year will be one of the best-talented teams CDUNK women basketball program has ever had and we are expecting to perform at a high level " Keith Said. Our women program has incredibly high expectations from within and from without. CDunk staff consist of Coach Keith, professional basketball coach Cameron Burnett from Bolingbrook & Bob!

Cameron Burnett comes to Chicken Dunk coaching staff with winning experience playing at North Park University in Chicago, Illinois where he led them to a championship & coaching experience where he led multiple programs in China! We are excited to have Coach Burnett on board with us and his training skills are amazing Keith said! Coach Keith believes that Vietnam has the best talent of women basketball but we lack a lot of exposure here! We are working with a few companies now such as Hoopkinect & Van Pelt Sports Management to try and get our players looks by the WNBA & National teams! CDUNK has top players such as Lê Vân, Việt Hà, Khánh Huyền, Thảo & Hương Liên! Keith thinks all of these players can play in the Women's National Basketball Association. Lê Vân is the best player in Vietnam ‘Keith said. Khánh Huyền andThảo are very good athletes and Hương Liên is our Captain. Hương Liên has a lot of potential to grow and dominate the league for the next 5 to 10 years. She is very athletic & long. No matter how tough I am on her she always smiling and go even harder. This is the first year that we have ran an up-tempo style of play on offense with a known stop pressing defense but we look really good running it. CDUNK is a member of the Hanoi Basketball league (HBL), which is the toughest women league in northern Vietnam. HBL president Linh Le has done an amazing job with building the HBL up and turning it into a tough league. Chicken Dunk women team has added a tougher schedule including games in Ho chi Minh City & Da Nang Asia is a great place to coach and I am so thrilled to be here coaching: Last 3 years I have coached in China & Hong Kong but now I have found my home here in Vietnam Keith said ! So far Keith has won 1 x National Championship ,1x Regional Championship ,5 x Provincial Championships & 4x Hong Kong titles. Keith is signed with Van Pelt Sports Management. The Keith Graves Charity foundation academy in Gabon will focus on both youth and elite talent development, said Keith Graves and we will also give free training and lots of gear the kids. The goal is by year two to have several traveling youth teams and a National team that travels to the states twice a year. All coaches in the academy will have a USA Gold or International License and FIBA Certificate.

There are so many great student athletes overseas that just don't get any type of exposure and they give up.

Keith Graves Making History in Hong Kong

On Saturday , Coach Keith Won it's 10th Championship . It was no shock that he would also receive the coach of the year awards for ages 14u girls & Boys and 16u girls and boys .Coach Keith has definitely proven the coach he is by beating top 4 rank teams by 42, 61, 39 & 31.

Keith said in addition to winning the championship, he has been contacting several prep schools and colleges trying to send student athletes that are ready. Most kids are not stronger than kids in the US but what i can say is they are very fast in China and Hong Kong.

It was somewhat difficult for the teams as they were in 7th & 8th place before coach Keith arrived and he immediately added a uptempo style of play. Most teams play zone here and when i realize that i just knew if i could speed the tempo up and press for 40 mins that i would have a chance to win " Keith said.

This is my first year being in Hong Kong as a coach so before i got here i arrived i contacted two professional players such as O'Darien Bassett who played for team Eastern last year and Former NBA player Donnell Harvey who helped me. The first thing they told me was to change the tempo " Coach Keith Said. Keith is currently 18-1 since arriving to Hong Kong. Next year will be very difficult do to our best players going to Montverde, IMG & DME academy but i guarantee you that we will be ready and we will press for 40 mins " Keith said.
